Are you ready to take the next step in your career?

The Institute for Performance and Learning (formerly the Canadian Society for Training and Development) sets the standards that define the workplace performance and learning profession. Becoming certified is a way for your skills and expertise to be recognized and acknowledged.

The Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP)â„¢ and Certified Training Practitionerâ„¢ (CTP) are the only professional designations in Canada for Workplace Performance and Learning. The Competencies for Performance and Learning Professionals is the body of knowledge and competency framework for the learning and development professional, and the syllabus for the CTDP and CTP. It encompasses the major aspects of effective workplace learning that enables meaningful business outcomes.

Check out the most recent data about the value and impact of the CTDP/CTP Designations in Canada and Worldwide!

For Information about the application and assessment process please refer to the Certification Handbook, or CTP/CTDP Standard Path Certification Fast Fact Sheet, or  CTDP Senior Path Certification Fast Fact sheet.
