The Waterloo, Wellington and Area Chapter (WWA) provides frequent networking and professional development events for performance and learning professionals across Waterloo and Wellington Regions. We offer half-day and full day professional development events focused on hot learning topics and key competencies for our chapter, as well as evening professional development events, networking pub nights, and monthly networking breakfasts.
We host community and industry leaders in our panel sessions, facilitated workshops, and informal networking sessions to connect our members to expertise and thought leadership.
In recent years, we’ve hosted events on the following topics:
Accessibility and Mobile Learning
The 70-20-10 model
Partnering with Clients
The WWA chapter executive is a core team of CTDP-certified members with decades of performance and learning experience, dedicated to bringing key topics to our membership. We seek feedback and new topic ideas regularly.
Our chapter executive is looking forward to working closely with our membership to build the profile of the Institute for Performance and Learning by continuing to provide development opportunities that will help advance themselves and their organizations. In the next year, we’re looking to grow our membership and outreach through a number of initiatives, while continuing to provide great learning experiences.
