Learner Impact Award

The Learner Impact Award of Excellence will be decided by you, the members!

VOTING IS OPEN FROM NOVEMBER 1 – DECEMBER 1, 2019

Following a detailed review process, the Awards of Excellence Judging Panel has chosen the finalists for the Learner Impact Award of Excellence and the members will choose the final winner.*  I4PL members are asked to view the videos, and score each one from 1 – 5 (5 being the highest score), paying special attention to this criteria:

  • In addition to well-developed goals, visual effects, and enhanced learning, the interaction provides interactive learning that engages learners and positively impacts their needs.
  • The educational content is delivered in a highly coupled and seamless fashion within the interaction. Learners can sufficiently build their knowledge and skills of the interaction and it provides a motivating experience for them.
  • It shows evidence of transfer of knowledge gained from the interaction to applicable events that produce measurable outcomes and learners become efficient users of the knowledge gained.
  • It incorporates multiple methods to engage the brain e.g. reading, audio, visual.
  • Learners are highly engaged in the interaction with active participation and can progress at the appropriate cognitive level. For online learning, there are ample prompts and cues imbedded in the interaction to keep the learner actively engaged.

Below are the submissions for members to view. When you have viewed all submissions, click the button at the end to score the videos from 1 – 5 (see scoring rubric).  You will need to sign in to score using your I4PL member login. Each member can score each submission one time only and your score cannot be changed after your scoring has been submitted. It is recommended that you write the number of each video as you view it and note your score on a paper, then proceed to the score page, where each video is identified by its name and number. Click on the video to view and on the name to read more about the submission.
