Update on I4PL and COVID-19

As the global COVID-19 pandemic continues, we want to share with you how we are adjusting our day to day operations. I4PL national office staff will continue to respond to emails and calls within normal parameters (allow up to one business day / 24 hours for a response).  Any face to face events planned to take place in the upcoming days will be either rescheduled or adapted to virtual where possible.  In terms of local I4PL Chapters, Chapter Chairs and volunteers are committed to the Centre for Disease Control’s recommended practice of social distancing. Social distancing is a public health practice to limit the spread of the virus by ensuring a significant distance between individuals. This may mean in-person networking or PD events will be rescheduled or adapted to virtual where possible. For news on local Chapter events, please check the Events page of the website here. We do encourage virtual connections and engagement wherever this is possible, as remaining connected and supportive of each other is very important.

We do hope that you embrace learning, while at home or in the office. We have an archive of past national webinars, available once you sign into your member profile and count towards PD credits for certification maintenance. There is an I4PL LinkedIn Group for performance and learning professionals where you can have discussions on your L&D practice. The I4PL Research Committee also wrote an excellent article that I encourage you all to read, "How Learning Leaders Can Help Their Organizations in the Midst of a Pandemic"

Thank you all for your understanding. We know that the virus has impacted many of you. From all of us at I4PL, we send our caring wishes to those affected by the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 virus.
