Introduction

It’s been 100+ days of physical distancing. Virtual meetings are now a staple of the work-from-home routine. By now, we’re all a little tired of Zoom Gallery View and Share Screen. But virtual meetings aren’t going away, at least not anytime soon. So what now? How do we start to build a virtual work culture that supports collaboration and helps strengthen engagement?

Presenter

Moe Poirier, Founding Partner, and the team at Shift Facilitation have been helping companies like Citibank, Frito-Lay, and Scotiabank make the successful leap to virtual since 2015. In this exclusive session, the Shift Team will help us unlock the secrets to a healthy virtual work culture. Our focus will be on working in Breakout rooms and learning how to integrate a basic set of tools and templates that enable collaboration.

This session is for I4PL members only and registration is limited to a maximum of 90 participants.  We encourage only those who know they will be able to attend to register for the session. Due to the nature of breakout rooms, only the parts of the session on the leader’s screen will be recorded. Participants are requested to join from a desktop/laptop computer; users who join using Chromebooks/Chrome OS or Zoom Rooms are unable to join breakout rooms. Participants are also requested to join from a quiet location and should be prepared to be on camera and on audio to full participate.

Workshop Description

This will be a ‘sandbox’ session. Come prepared to experiment and explore. During the session, we will:

  • Share practical tips and tools for using Breakouts
  • Discover the key ingredients that support virtual collaboration
  •  Develop a vision for a healthy virtual work culture

Workshop Outcomes

The session will be practical and experiential. You will walk away with virtual insights and tools you can apply right away.
